Sunset Spring on the Sound - sold


4"x4" oil on gessoed masonite

April is all about hope! (and spring) - The days are longer, the grasses growing green again. Sunsets are catching that warm glow on the sides of buildings as in these old barns & outbuildings here at Harkness Park...in our corner of CT.

    It's truly the essence of waiting for Spring in Connecticut. The slighest splash of color is intense.

    Thanks Cheryl - that's why I feel so euphoric in spring-time....going from all those grays to a gradual POP of color here & there...makes all those new colors really sing!(and me very happy that winter is 'done'!
