The Great Summer Road Trip

Here we are Monday morning about to cross the Tappan Zee bridge from CT into New York in a soft drizzle of foggy rain. This is the annual trek (from CT to FL) of taking two students back to college, far away, stopping along the way at our home-away-from homes. This evening we are at Oceana Naval Air station, in Virginia Beach. No chance to paint today, but there may be some time for small paintings along the way! Both daughters are looking forward to catching up with old friends - so am I !! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
