Pink Two Lips
8"x8" oil on gessoed masonite artboard
"Kissing is a means of getting two people so close together that they can't see anything wrong with each other."
- Rene Yasenek
"Pink Two Lips" is an 8"x8" oil on gessoed masonite artboard, a perfect gift for Valentine's Day. This painting started with the simple intention of staying with a red/green palette of color, then a play-on-words for the title. And what else would you need with your pearls and lipstick, but two lips?

Thanks Jerry! I sure wish spring were a bit closer!!
Your palette knife paintings are so full of energy... just as a palette knife painting should be.
Thanks sooo much Shirley! That's one reason why I find knife paintings so exciting!
