This is one of my favorite places in CT to go hike. This is at Bluff Point in late afternoon, the sun glances across the cove to light up the tree trunks (or back light them depending on which angle you're walking down the trail). The path winds it's way around the water's edge ...so beautiful in this spot. Hiking is one of my favorite get-a-ways - even a short one is better than none at all!

This is beautiful Roxanne! Greens can be so tricky, you have done a wonderful job. I really like the atmosphere in "ponds edge" also.

Thanks Heidi, I've enjoyed your paintings, too. Funny about greens, I have made a point of really studying/focusing on them this year & those 'atmospheric effects'!.
