Crisp Morning Late Autumn New England Barns
About This Painting:
We've been having some warm days here in New England, considering it's December. I took advantage of it today to get outside and paint over at Harkness Park. Even though the leaves are all down, there is a wonderful variety of grays in the woods! Wow! Nothing like fresh air and sunshine!
Media: oil on Belgian linen mounted on professional artboard

Thanks Norma! It was soo much fun being out there today! I saw a bunch of things I wanted to paint today....hope to make it back there again soon!
really nice! how long did it take you to do this one?
Beautiful work, beautiful quote Roxanne!
Thanks "Artist", it took just a bit of time in the morning, long enough to drive over to the park, set up, paint before the light changed too drastically, and make it home for a late lunch. (and like 'they' say, the years of practice before that).
Thanks Nancy- so happy you like the choice of quote to go with the painting, too! :-)
Very nice paint quality and texture.
